Once known as Navarino, Pylos is a historic seaside town in the Peloponnese that deserves all the attention it'll get on this tour. You'll cruise into Navarino Bay, site of a naval battle in the Greek War of Independence, and head out to sea for a refreshing swim.
If you're into history, then Pylos will serve up a feast of stories from the past. On your way over from Kalamata, you'll stop at a lookout point to cast your eyes over Navarino Bay and the island of Sfaktiria, a site of three battles.
Afterwards, you'll board the boat to sail out into the bay. Stopping for a swim along the way, you'll see up close some of the most striking battle sites in the Peloponnese.
