If ever a city was designed for exploring by hop-on, hop-off bus, then it's Seville. Boasting a widespread array of attractions, and baked in heat for much of the year, this City Sightseeing tour allows you to reach the main sights with ease.

There are 14 stops to hop on and off – from La Cartuja, site of Expo 92, in the north, to Maria Luisa Park, where Expo 29 was hosted, in the south of the city. What's more, at different times of the day, there are four guided walks you can avail of – ideal for an in-depth exploration. There's one around Maria Luisa Park and the iconic Plaza de España. And keep an eye out for times for the Santa Cruz, Triana and Fine Arts Museum tours.

Also included are entry to several museums and churches – in Seville they are even more impressive on the inside. You'll have easy access to top sights such as the Torre de Oro, cathedral and Royal Alcazar, and enjoy 360° panoramic views of the city with audio commentary in 15 languages.

González Byass bodega tour and sherry tasting

Jerez's best-known product is so much a part of the city's fabric that it is named after it. You can't spend time here without being tempted by a glass of crisp sherry – and there's no better way to learn about the fortified wine than this guided visit to the González Byass bodega.This historic family-run company produces some of Spain's most famous drinks, including Tio Pepe sherry – with the iconic guitar-holding sombreroed bottle logo – and Soberano brandy. You'll learn about the varieties – fino, amontillado, manzanilla and oloroso – and history of the bodega.After an introductory video, you'll explore the bodegas, riding on a mini-train between the production areas and strolling through lanes shaded by vine pergolas. You'll also see the vast vaults in which the wines are aged in oak barrels – keep an eye for those autographed by celebs and the legendary ‘mouse's glass', which is kept for a regular four-legged visitor. The icing on the cake is the tasting at the end of the tour.
