Dive into the aquatic wonders of SEA LIFE Oberhausen, home to the biggest shark nursery in Germany and a treasure trove of marine life. With seahorses, turtles and otters to the mesmerising dance of jellyfish, every corner promises a new discovery. Inside you’ll find different zones and carefully curated tanks – colourful fish of the pirate ship and those lurking in the flowstone cave are all waiting to be discovered.
Experience the life of baby sharks at the nursery, a unique underwater dome treating guests to 360-degree views of the youngest offspring. You’ll also learn about the role mangroves play in the life of sharks. The interactive rockpool is a must, where you can get up close to starfish and crabs – and the showstopper of the aquarium, the Ocean Tunnel. As you walk through, you’ll see everything from shark rays and turtles to blacktip and whitetip sharks swimming around you. The best part – you won’t get wet.
