Escaping the hussle and bussle of the busy city life, wishing a good day goodnight while sitting at a kitchen table in a historical private Chianti home, breathing in the smells, taking in the sounds: the inhebriating sensorial experience explains more about the essence of Italian style than any book, blog, TV show.
2019 NEW VERSION of our evening cooking class:
We’ll pick you up in the heart of Florence at 4:30 PM. In about 25 minutes, we will arrive at destination: the setting is our private historical home in the countryside on the hills over Florence – where we’ll learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch like you’ve never had before: NATURALLY low gluten, low cal, low carb, and yet more nutritious and satisfying!
(It’s a hands-on lesson, you don’t just watch a chef do all the work …)
We have added a bubbly welcome toast with a proper prosecco and a sensorial "thank you gift" that you can bring back home to remind you of your Accidental Tourist experience.
The tour will end up with a plentiful home-cooked dinner, unlimited wine, coffee, homemade dessert and homemade liquors included.
After dinner, plenty of time to chat at the table and exchange addresses and suggestions with our new friends.

To accommodate the growing number of requests and still keep the group sizes to a quaint and intimate maximum of 8 people, our cooking class is now available EVERY WEEK END and most holidays too! Thanks to our neighbors Gabriela and Leone opening their gorgeous historical home to the Accidental Tourist:
90 olive trees, a chicken coop, an impressive antique collection, a kitchen that stole our hearts, and a warm welcoming philosophy that is right up the Accidental Tourist alley.
Gabriela has lived most of her full life in Italy, but has french, dutch and Argentinian in her.
Together with her husband Leone – a prominent historical paintings restorer – she lives in a beautiful 17th century farmhouse in the Chianti countryside, only a few minutes away from us.
