Discover the two different cultures, Romanian and Hungarian, during this one-day trip to two of the most important distilleries in the area of Brasov. Go back in time thanks to a visit to the Szekely National Museum.
Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Brasov and you will drive around 20 kilometers to Rasnov city. You will visit the first distillery, where the owner will show you the basics of Palinka distilling. See the multitude of flavors produced here and if you think you can handle it, go ahead and taste the spirits. They are the best for a cold, rainy day.
Your next visit will be in the city of Sfantu Gheorghe, where you will explore the second distillery. This one produces world-famous drinks which have been awarded various distinctions in world contests. Here, you will have the chance to taste stunning and unique flavors of Palinka. Be careful, some are quite strong!
In the end, you will visit the Szekely National Museum and learn about the history and culture of these places, from the stone age to modern times.
You will be then taken back to Brasov and dropped off at your accommodation.
