You will start the tour by driving up to Svanstein (around 1 1/2 hours) where you will meet Sixten, an old person of Sàmi descent who owns numerous reindeers. Sixten will proudly speak about his life in this remote part of the world – an enchanting experience! You will have a chance to feed the animals and take pictures with them. Sixten is also an award-winning knife artisan – his work is displayed in the reindeer farm: a unique opportunity for shopping. After waving Sixten goodbye, you will drive back to Juoksenki (20 min) where the tour will cross the Arctic Circle and take a picture next to the iconic monument. After, there is a stop for lunch at the organic Hulkoffgården farm, where you can live through a unique experience: an authentic shaman will gather you around the fire and tell you all about the energy that springs out of your body. A unique experience for your stay in the Heart of Lapland.
