Take this two day trip around the city of Saint Petersburg, Russia's ancient Capital.
You will visit the most famous landmarks: the Hermitage Museum with its grandiose architectural complex which has one of the most important art collections, the Church of Christ the Savior on Spilled Blood, and then have a boat ride along the canals and the rivers of the city. In the afternoon you will visit Peterhof Palace, the summer residence of the czars, called the "Russian Versailles".
In the evening you will be brought back to the ship. The following day the tour starts from the same pier and will first bring you to visit the Metro, where you will have an adventure riding on the Russian subway. Then you will visit Saint Isaak's Cathedral. You will have a lunch at a typical Russian restaurant to saviour local cuisine. Lastly visit the Fortress of St. Peter and St. Paul, the first building of the ancient city.
