The first day will see you taking a scenic drive through spectacular deserts on the road to Lake Powell, a veritable oasis after the aridity you've just passed through! You'll visit Glen Canyon Dam, the Carl Hayden visitor centre before enjoying lunch on the shores of gorgeous Lake Powell. Once you're powered up, you'll discover the Navajo history and secrets of Antelope Canyon, the worlds most famous Arizona slot canyon followed by a short, guided scenic walk to Horseshoe Bend.
The second day will be adventure-filled no matter what your tastes: maybe a drift down the Colorado River floats your boat, or perhaps a swim in the crystal waters of Lake Powell, or why not a scenic boat cruise? Afterwards take your chance to visit the Big Water Dinosaur Center where you will find a vibrant 30’ mural depicting the late cretaceous period and real dinosaur fossils on display, before heading back to Vegas.
