It's kept under wraps, with the last known viewing being hundreds of years ago. You'll also have free time to wander around the grounds and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. What's more, your visit helps the preservation of this important heritage site.We'll then visit the hilltop tomb of Archbishop Makarios III. You'll eat your way from village to village - visiting Laneia, Agros and the mountain village of Pera Pedi to taste its wines. Heading out of Paphos, the journey begins in Laneia with a short, guided tour of the village where you'll see the warm Cypriot greeting of kopiaste – ‘come join us' – in action all around the flower-scented, photogenic, cobbled streets. Next, it's on to Agros to taste its famous homemade spoon sweets, made from fruit preserved in syrup and rosewater. You'll even get an insight into how the rosewater is made at a little factory where you can also take some home if you're a fan.
