Meeting point:

Timed entry ticket option: please get into the security line for the Monument 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Monument ticket with walking tour option: meet your guide by the Jefferson Pier Stone, located just Nrth-West of the Washington Monument, on the National Mall. After the tour, head back to the Washington Monument and join the security line 30 minutes before the scheduled entry time.

Strollers are not permitted inside the Museum. You must leave the stroller in the designated, unattended parking area outside, often near the entrance or along the side of the building

Most visitors spend no more than 30 minutes inside the Washington Monument itself
The Washington Monument requires all guests to go through physical security screening to access the monument. The security line normally takes around 15-30 minutes but can be even longer on major holidays
The Washington Monument operates in rain or shine
Minors (17 or under) must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
The Washington Monument is a self-guided experience. The small-group guided tour is available only if the correct option is selected in the calendar, and the entrance ticket should take place after the walking tour
