What to expect

Relais Palás Cerequio is a member of The Grand Wine Tour, an association of the finest wineries in Italy that offer exclusive wine tastings, boutique hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and unique activities dedicated to wine lovers. Palás Cerequio offers a unique wine experience for true wine lovers: horizontal and vertical private tastings, led by sommelier Roberto Stroppiana, of old Barolo vintages selected among the greatest expressions of the most prestigious crus of the Barolo denomination. All wines are served with Coravin. You can also choose to have lunch or dinner at the winery and enjoy a three-course menu paired with wines from the Michele Chiarlo selection.

Relais Palás Cerequio

Relais Palás Cerequio is in one of the 6 core zones part of the fiftieth UNESCO site in Italy: The Viticultural Landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato. The winery rises at La Morra, the ancient village from which it takes its name, at the center of one of the areas best suited for the production of Barolo, one of the most prestigious wines in the world.

Palás, a Piedmont word meaning "palace of luxury", is the first Relais dedicated to Barolo crus. Everything at Palás Cerequio recounts the history and passion for quality wines: from the architectural design to its furnishings and the works of art hanging on the walls to the selection of wines and gourmet dishes offered by its restaurant, the spectacular views of the vineyards up to the smallest architectural detail.

The Caveau of Barolo

Over half a century of Barolo vintages, from 1958 to now, gathered in a collection of over 6,000 bottles in various formats. Taste the full-weight of history with samples from bottles that are over 50 years old.
