Port Olímpic is nestled between Somorrostro Beach and Nova Icària Beach next to iconic buildings like the KBr Fundació MAPFRE Barcelona Photo Center, Hotel Arts Barcelona, and Casino Barcelona. This Olympic Harbour, large enough to hold over 700 boats, was built in 1990 to host the sailing events of the 1992 Summer Olympic Games held in Barcelona.
