What to expect

Hop on our e-bike and explore the green hills of Bologna in an eco-friendly and fun way! This tour will take you to the most fascinating parks of the city and then to the top of the hills, the perfect place to enjoy the riveting views of Bologna's roofs.

Head for Porta Castiglione, where you'll start pedaling uphill across different parks like Giardini Margherita, the most popular park in Bologna, Parco di Villa Ghigi and then Parco Cavaioni. From this height, among vineyards, olive trees and woods, you will have the first chance to observe Bologna from above, as well as the Padana plain and the Reno river valley. Upon request, it’s possible to organize a refreshment stop in the park.

The most trained and experienced of you at this point can take a challenging dirt road that crosses Talon Park and its famous sluice, Chiusa di Casalecchio di Reno, or choose the easier way back through Via di Casaglia. At the end of the tour, if some time is left you can also ride up to the Sanctuary of San Luca, set on the Guardia hill.
