Depart from the city center of Bordeaux for a day trip to its most beautiful vineyards, from the right bank to the left bank, including a walking tour of Saint-Emilion, lunch, and wine tasting at three different Châteaux. Start with a guided walking tour of Saint-Emilion, a renowned medieval village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then you will taste 3 wines at a Saint-Emilion-Grand-Cru Château. There, you will learn about the terroir, the history and the art of blending which make this appellation so unique, and enjoy a picnic lunch including tasty local products: a selection of cheeses and “charcuterie”, a typical basque dish, and a fruit dessert, accompanied by a glass of the estate wine.
In the afternoon, you will go on the left bank to the famous Médoc region, to visit a Château Grand Cru Classé from Margaux appellation and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines. Your guide will make a stop by the legendary Château Margaux, an opportunity to take some pictures, before heading to the third Château for a final wine tasting of 3 different wines.
