After pick-up from your hotel in the morning, you will visit Marina Beach; the second longest beach in the world which starts from the St. George Fort. You’ll learn that this fortress was built in 1653 by the British East India Company after establishing its first trading post at Chennai, using it to protect its position. Today it is used as the state government’s secretariat.
The Santhome Cathedral is another colonial structure not to be missed, with its stunning white façade, built in the 14th and 15th centuries. Discover the oldest temple in Chennai, the unique and endearing Kapaleeswara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, as well as the Parthasarthy Temple that’s dedicated to Lord Krishna. You will also visit India's first reptile park, Chennai Snake Park, home to a large collection of snakes and many other reptiles.
