Copenhagen and its surrounding area have a plethora of castles and palaces. Which one to choose? You will be taken to one of the favorites, Rosenborg Castle. On this private walking tour, you'll also see another palace, a square with a Stone of Shame, colorful townhouses and towers galore.
Start with a view of the Danish Parliament and the Royal Reception Rooms, the beautiful Christiansborg Palace. From Bishop Absalon, considered by some to be the founder of Copenhagen, to Tycho Brahe, a famous Danish astronomer, you'll cover well-known Danish figures and sites, including Kongens Nytorv, the shopping street Strøget and the Round Tower.
Around the corner from the Round Tower, walk into the park, where a castle appears among the lush trees. Sometime during your stay in Copenhagen, you'll most likely have heard the name King Christian IV, responsible for building half of Copenhagen, and this is the crowning glory of his work. You'll enter inside his illustrious summer residence turned museum and treasury.
To finish off, you will visit one of the main attractions of Copenhagen: Nyhavn. Whether you like Instagram photos, boats, or fairytales, Nyhavn is the place to be.
