The inside story
The museum of the Palais Bénédictine was opened in 1888 by Alexandre-Prosper-Hubert Le Grand in a building in a style that mixes different eras -- neo-Gothic, neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau architecture.
It hosts a museum dedicated to the precious Norman liqueur, created in 1510 by Benedictine monk Dom Bernardo Vincelli, and temporary art exhibitions.
