Admire Michelangelo’s David, as well as his partially-finished Slaves; and be amazed at how he managed to transform the jagged rock into the beautiful, lifelike figures of his sculptures. You’ll also hear stories about Leonardo Da Vinci and the powerful Medici family whose patronage made Florence one of the hotspots of the Renaissance art world.

Continue towards the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to see the famous Dome and hear the story of how Brunelleschi rediscovered the lost architectural knowledge in order to design and build his most majestic work. Stop to admire the splendid Paradise Gate of the Baptistery and learn about the history of the competition at the basis of his creation.

After the Duomo, you'll get to wander the streets of the city to see some of Florence's landmarks including Palazzo Vecchio, the statues of the Church of Orsanmichele, Pizza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria and of course Ponte Vecchio, the most picturesque bridge in Italy.

The monuments along the way will come to life through the stories told by your guide. You will have all the time you want to ask questions and discover the incredible history of this unforgettable city thanks to the intimacy guaranteed by a small group tour.
