A speedboat gives you the ability to cover a bigger area as you go in search of these gentle giants. While you can spot some whales without leaving the bay, finding bigger ones requires you to travel a bit further out. A RIB boat is faster than the wind, which makes it more likely for you to reach the big whales.
The tour also includes a visit to Puffin Island. Here you can experience thousands of puffins, also known as "Clowns of the Ocean", during their nesting period (April 15th – August 15th).
Seeing whales is highly dependent on nature and as such no guarantees can be made regarding animal encounters. However, this tour increases your chances to see some of the world's biggest animals.
