Departing from Inverness, this tour follows the beautiful Caledonian Canal all the way to Loch Ness. 24 miles long and over 700 feet deep, this loch is most famous for its sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as 'Nessie'.
Your first stop of the day will be Dochgarroch and offers you the chance to have a boat trip around the Loch. Then, it's onto the 13th century Urquhart Castle where you can explore the ruins, enjoy the visitor centre and take in the views across Loch Ness. The next stops will be at Invermoriston, where you'll get to take photos of the bridge and St Columba’s Well, and Fort Augustus. Fort Augustus is a small town with a population of only 650 people and is a perfect spot to relax and watch boats passing through the Caledonian Canal while you enjoy your lunch.
Afterwards, you'll pass by Falls of Foyers, which was a favourite spot of poet Rabbie Burns and is truly breathtaking.
