The activity starts with a pick-up service in Krakow.
You will then head to the town of Wieliczka, 15 km south of Krakow, where the Salt Mine is located. You will travel in an air-conditioned minivan accompanied by a knowledgeable English-speaking driver.
Upon arrival, you will have a short break and receive all the important information regarding the tour. Be ready to explore one of the most valuable and fascinating places in Poland: the 13th century Salt Mine, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
You will descend 140 m below the ground level with an accredited guide and discover the unique underground world, see the treasures carved entirely in the rock salt. You will marvel at the numerous chapels, the amazing saline lakes and landscapes. You will learn the interesting history of mining in the middle ages.
You will then make your way to the ground by using the lift. Before you head back to the car you will also visit the Museum of Wieliczka and the souvenir shop.
The tour concludes with a drop-off in the center of Cracow.
