Canarians call La Palma ´la isla bonita' – the beautiful island – which is some compliment. This full day tour will introduce you to top natural wonders such as Roque de los Muchachos and the primeval Caldera de Taburiente.
Your adventure kicks off as you venture up the 2,500-metre high Roque de los Muchachos – Las Palma's highest peak – passing the domed astronomical observatory on the way. At the top, take in the views over the Caldera de Taburiente. Ringed by soaring peaks, this immense bowl is thick with pine forests and waterfalls.
Next it's on to the town of Garafia Santo Domingo and El Time lookout, which boasts heart-pounding views over the Angustias gorge. Next, we'll make our way through Los Llanos de Aridane towards La Cumbrecita to stop at the Concepcion lookout, a natural volcanic ledge commanding sweeping panoramas over the capital, Santa Cruz, and its bay.
