The inside story
Kenya houses many National Parks and Reserves where visitors can admire the beautiful and colorful nature and of course observe the wilderness inhabiting the parks. A variety of animal species live in the national reserves, alongside the Big Five, being elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceros, and cape buffalos, you might be able to spot zebras and many different types of gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs and jackals. Also, streaming in the water, you might find hippopotamus and crocodiles.
Tsavo East National Park is one of the biggest and eldest parks in Kenya. The area where it lies is semi-arid, and opposite to it there is the West side of Tsavo National Park, the two are distinguished as they are crossed by the A109 road and the railway.
Masai Mara National Reserve is located upwards compared to Tsavo, and it is really close to the Tanzania border. The name is related to the Maasai people who inhabited this area.
