The Coral Riviera is well-known for its rich marine life and colourful underwater gardens. On this tour, you'll sail to Capo Caccia to snorkel in Porto Conte, a protected marine park, and cruise past pristine beaches bathed in golden sunshine. You'll then round it off with a tasting of local sparkling Akenta wine.
The beauty of this tour is that you'll avoid the long navigation from Alghero, and instead cast off in a dinghy boat from Porto Conte bay so you'll soon arrive at your first snorkelling stop. Porto Conte marine reserve is home to hundreds of Mediterranean fish, so once you've dived in, keep your eyes peeled for grouper fish, pincer lobster and conger eels as well as red coral formations and margarita flowers – it's an idyllic snorkelling location.
And it doesn't end there, once you're back on dry land, you'll taste and learn about Akenta, a careful selection of grapes from Vermentino di Sardegna DOC. The incredible thing about this wine is that it's left to age – and get its bubbles – underwater in Porto Conte.
