Start your sightseeing day 4x4 tour in your small group, driving east to the nearby old town of Taqah, you'll get to view the ancient ruins of the legendary Queen of Sheba's palace. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was believed to have been one of Southern Arabia’s major frankincense trading ports.
Next you’ll head off to Taqah plateau and Sumhuram, before continuing onto Wadi Darbat, an area of great beauty where lakes and lush vegetation create a natural paradise. Take a relaxing stroll along the Wadi bed, home to grazing herds of camels, goats, cattle and donkeys.
