Join the Stockholm for kids tour, where you will visit the Junibacken children's museum located on the Djurgården island. The museum is dedicated to the characters of well-known children's books, and is interesting for both kids and parents.
Take a trip on a story train, which will guide you through scenes from Astrid Lindgren's books. Here you can meet Alfons Oberg, Petson and Findus, and even the Moomins by Tove Janson. You'll be able to transform into one of the characters from the stories and watch daily theatrical performances.
After Junibacken, you'll head off to Skansen, a well-known open-air museum where you can explore Sweden in a nutshell. Here you can see the miniature towns and villages from the 17th to 19th centuries, their buildings which were transferred from different parts of the country. You will be able to see earlier life and crafts like the traditional bakery where famous Swedish knackebröd is made or the glass workshop. Skansen also offers a zoo, restaurants with typical Swedish cuisine, the Aquaria museum and great views over Stockholm.
