You'll have a ball playing kemari, a traditional Japanese game enjoyed by the nobility and feudal lords since the Muromachi period (1336-1573). This activity is set up as Ouchi kemari, based on the idea that Lord Ouchi, a dominant feudal lord who governed Yamaguchi during this era, might have also enjoyed kemari. As participants, you'll wear Muromachi-style attire and engage in the game using a specially crafted mari ball.
