Itinerary:
Day 1: You'll embark on a 3-hour drive to the camp, and start with an epic lunch stop in Colborne to witness and climb the famous big apple. This amazing roadside with many attractions, mini-golf, souvenirs, and a must-try chocolate cider, candy, ice cream, and fudge! After lunch, get ready to sip some local wines in the vineyards at Huff Estates Winery in Bloomfield, followed by a stroll through the coinciding outdoor modern art exhibit. When you arrive at the camp, you'll be introduced to your home with a short tent setup demo, after which you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing waters of Lake Ontario. You'll end your night chatting around a group campfire and be taught to make world-famous s'mores!
Day 2: Start your day with an extensive cold breakfast spread and your choice of juice, coffee or tea. On this day, you'll be divided into 2 groups: those who wish to enjoy a relaxing canoe or kayak paddle on Lake Ontario, and others who wish to go for a short hike on the Cedar Sands Trail. After lunch, a 40-minute group hike along the Woodlands Trail will take you to Dunes beach. Sit on the beach, swim, or wander through endless dunes, the option is yours. Guests also have the option of continuing onto a guided hike of the legendary Dunes Trail.
