The inside story
When you think of Vancouver one of the first images which surely springs to mind is its fantastic and unique skyline. You might think of the towering skyscrapers encircled by mountain rages, and the divergence between nature and man-made structure, and what better way to appreciate such a structurally diverse city than from above? The Vancouver Lookout has been an integral and unique part of the city's skyline since 1977, famous for being the tallest, purely commercial building in Vancouver, and for it's bizarre flying saucer shape. It lights up at night and twinkles festively during the holidays, brightening up the city's infrastructure. Not only does heading to the top of the 28th floor (553.16 ft or 168.60 m) offer you a fantatic panorama of Stanley Park, the Pacific Ocean, the majestic North Shore Mountains and the Olympic Peninsula Mountains, but there's plenty to do inside, as well. Why not browse the beautiful food fair, get studying at the Simon Fraser University which lies inside, or grab a bite to eat at the Vancouver Revolving Restaurant. Fantastic views, great grub and a whole lot of height, the Vancouver Lookout is a must-visit.
