Venice's 1,500 years of history and 117 islands make it one of the world's most famous cities. On this tour, you'll stroll through the most legend laden parts of the city and visit the picture-postcard islands of Murano and Burano.
Your adventure starts when you board a motorboat at Punta Sabbioni and glide through the lagoon to 'the most serene' Queen of the Adriatic. You have free time to explore the city at your own pace, or maybe even enjoy an optional gondola ride. In the afternoon, you'll cruise to Murano to visit a glass factory and to observe a demonstration of the ancient craft of glassblowing.
Then you'll hop back into the boat to cruise to Burano. Enjoy free time on this island famed for its pastel-colored homes, leaning tower and high-quality lace and eating the famous Burano biscuits -- bussolai. You'll then return to Punta Sabbioni for transfer back to your hotel.
