Praga survived the War, but it used to be a forgotten and dangerous part of the city. Recently, however, artists have moved here and they have changed this district a lot. Here you will experience the atmosphere of the local streets, old market and former vodka factory.
Praga is the best preserved district of pre-war Warsaw, where trade and industry concentrated around Targowa Street.
Your tour will start from Targowa Street, you'll see the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, the monument of the Prague orchestra, the former Jewish Mykwa and the remains of the Synagogue at Jagiellońska Street.
Next see the Polish Vodka Museum at Koneser Praga Center. Polish Vodka Museum — the only one of its kind in the world, created in the landmark distillery building.
Then, turn towards the former "Bermuda triangle", that is Brzeska street. Here, the entire frontage of the pre-war city has been preserved. Discover numerous chapels from the war in the gates and enjoy a walk around the Różycki bazaar - once you could buy everything, even the tank!
