Tijdens deze excursie maak je een volle dagtocht door het historische verleden vanaf Argolis. Deze excursie brengt je vanaf Athene naar de Peloponnesos, om kennis te maken met een glorieus verleden dat door Homerus werd geprezen. De eerste halte is het Kanaal vanaf Korinthe, dat de Golf vanaf Korinthe in de Ionische Zee verbindt met de Saronische Golf in de Egeïsche Zee. Na het oversteken vanaf het kanaal komen we aan in Mycene, het thuisland vanaf koning Agamemnon, de held buiten de Ilias die de Griekse legers tegen Troje samenbracht. Je krijgt de kans om door de overblijfselen vanaf de welvarende stad te wandelen die Zuid-Griekenland domineerde tijdens de late bronstijd. We maken een stop bij een traditionele Griekse taverne om energie op te doen en gaan dan naar de stad Nafplio, de eerste Griekse hoofdstad met een fascinerende geschiedenis vanaf de prehistorie tot de Griekse revolutie in de 19e eeuw. Daar krijg je een wandeling met onze gids, je leert en ziet belangrijke dingen over deze regio.
