Participate in the Invisible Exhibition in Prague and discover this unique concept that brings you closer to the world of the visually impaired. See how to orientate yourself in everyday life without relying on your sight and observe how your other senses will sharpen in complete darkness!
An hour in complete darkness will change your perception of space and force you to rely on other senses. Go through a number of specially darkened rooms, where you can experience situations from everyday life, in a busy city, but also in nature, or at a concert. The guides will take care of a safe stay in the dark while showing you how the world can be perceived in many different ways, not just with the eyes. At the visible part of the exhibition discover devices and objects used by the blind on a daily basis. Get to know Braille, paint blindly, walk with a white stick and learn about other aides intended to help the visually impaired.
At the end of the tour, you will find have a chance to get a coffee or lemonade, also in complete darkness. So bring some change with you, so you can learn how to know the value of money without using your sight. The exhibition provides the possibility of employment for the visually impaired. Your support and participation are much appreciated.
