What to expect

Explore the ancient city of Athens, the cradle of Western civilization and birthplace of democracy, on a hop-on hop-off, open-top sightseeing tour. Discover the city's 3,000-year history from the vantage point of the top deck of a double-decker bus. Marvel at Athens' ancient ruins, including iconic landmarks like the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Theatre of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of Hephaestus, and the Ancient Agora.

This tour will allow you to experience Athens at your own pace choosing from 48-hour (Discover - 1 Route), 48-hour (Essential - All Routes), or 72-hour (Explore - All routes and Night Tour) hop-on hop-off travel passes. You can travel across three routes, each featuring onboard audio commentary in 14 languages. The Athens line takes you to the ancient heart of the city, including the neighbourhoods of Plaka and Monastiraki. Hop off at attractions such as the Temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the National Archaeological Museum. The Piraeus line takes you to the ancient port city of Piraeus, Greece's largest port and home to a number of archaeological sites. The Riviera line transports you to Glyfada Bay, offering stunning vistas of the Athens Riviera, renowned for its picturesque coastline with sandy beaches, rocky coves, and crystal-clear waters.
