You'll be picked up at your hotel in Mérida and drive to the ancient Hacienda Yaxcopoil to learn more about the culture and traditions of the area. Once there, you'll hear the history of this estate, which brings together the three great periods of Yucatán's past: pre-Hispanic life, colonial life and the henequen boom.
Next, you'll head to Uxmal, an important UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you'll visit its main remains, such as the imposing Pyramid of the Soothsayer, the Nunnery Quadrangle, the Ball Court and the Governor's Palace.
After exploring Uxmal, you'll travel to a beautiful cenote where you can take a refreshing dip. Afterward, you'll move to a neighbouring village, where you'll eat at a local restaurant with typical recipes of Mayan cuisine. Complete your experience savouring a delicious Yucatecan dish for lunch.
