Learn how the production of a unique gin takes place near Olbia, in northeastern Sardinia. This special gin comes from the distillation of fermented myrtle berries and together with your guide you'll discover how the drink is obtained from the raw material: you'll first visit the artisanal still where the extraction takes place, then the laboratory where the transformation is completed.
Not only will you have the opportunity to learn about the production of this gin, but you'll enjoy an excellent cocktail prepared by an expert, paired with fresh oysters and olives. Everything will be framed by the relaxing atmosphere of the location, where you'll enjoy your cocktail with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Marinella. PROGRAMME
Visit to the myrtle plantation, a cultivation of Myrtus communis, where the plants grow in their natural environment without ever having been treated with pesticides. Five different varieties of myrtle are grown here, selected from the approximately 200 varieties recorded in Sardinia. During the tour, the company's philosophy and the cultivation methods used will be explained.
Visit to the production laboratory, distillery and steam-powered still where gin and essential oils are produced, with explanations of the entirely artisanal production process.
