After meeting at the Marina for checking-in, your experience will start with a short introduction about the bird species you'll be able to observe locally, about their migrations and behavioural patterns, plus onboard safety rules. You'll thus board on a boat to travel the coast amd observe some known colonies, the shorebirds and all wildlife at the protected nature reserve of Vila Franca do Campo. After, you'll head out to sea looking for other species to admire thanks to the lookouts providing you with information and directions via a VHF radio.
